About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal / Conveyancer to join our team in Somersby. Under the guidance and mentorship of the General Counsel, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing conveyancing matters
  • Preparing & reviewing basic legal documents
  • Conducting legal research
  • Assisting with the preparation of advice 
  • File review and management
  • Providing general administrative support
  • Acting as point of contact with key stakeholders
  • Other duties as required to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the legal department and business as a whole
     

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as paralegal/conveyancer
  • Conveyancing experience essential, including with PEXA
  • Knowledge of legal professional and ethical responsibilities relating to client confidentiality and conflicts of interest
  • Strong written skills, excellent computer skills including familiarity with MS applications and Leap legal software
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships across the business


Experience in one or more of the following fields would be highly advantageous:

  • Debt recovery
