About the role
As part of our growth within the region, we are seeking an experienced IT Support professional to join our Mount Gambier team. This is a full time, permanent day shift position where your skills and work ethic will be rewarded with competitive terms and conditions of employment.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the reliability and efficiency of IT services.
- Regularly monitoring IT infrastructure.
- Support of desktop, infrastructure, and services across multiple technology streams including hardware, software, networks, server, print, mobile devices, peripherals, etc.
- Providing technical support to the business and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting and managing the deployment of IT infrastructure.
- Administration, configuration, support and management of existing infrastructure and network.
About you:
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an IT support role, including administration configuration within a Microsoft environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities.
- A methodical approach to tasks with high attention to detail
- An ability to work independently as well as to actively participate in and effectively contribute to a team environment.
- A solution focused approach to troubleshooting.
- Networking and routing knowledge.
- Knowledge/experience in VoIP, Firewall, Enterprise WIFI and virtualisation would be highly desirable.
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
