IT Support Oberon

 

We are currently seeking an experienced IT support. This role is located at our Oberon site.

This position, reporting to the Senior Software Engineer, will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the reliability and efficiency of IT services.
  • Regularly monitoring IT infrastructure.
  • Support of desktop, infrastructure, and services across multiple technology streams including hardware, software, networks, server, print, mobile devices, peripherals, etc
  • Providing technical support to the business.
  • Supporting and managing the deployment of IT infrastructure.
  • Administration, configuration, and support of existing infrastructure
  • Network configuration and management
     

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an IT support role, including administration, configuration within a Microsoft environment
  • Strong organisational skills, the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities
  • Methodical with high attention to detail
  • Team Player - Ability to work independently as well as to actively participate in and effectively contribute to a team environment to get the job done.
  • Participation in special IT projects as the business requires
  • Networking and routing knowledge
  • Knowledge/experience in VoIP, Firewall, Enterprise WIFI and virtualisation would be highly desirable.
