Apprentice Boilermaker

Location:  Somersby – NSW Central Coast

Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Heavy Fabrication)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Apprentice Boilermaker to join our Engineering team at Somersby.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn on the job in our state-of-the-art workshop. Our Boilermakers are responsible for the fabrication of industrial steel used in the manufacturing and construction industry.

To be successful in this role you need to be dedicated and strive to improve your knowledge and performance each and every day in order to improve production outcomes. You need to have an interest in steel fabrication or welding and possess a problem-solving mindset.

Our successful Apprentice will have:

Completed year 10 at school
Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and quality
Strong written and oral communication skills
A positive approach to workplace safety
An ability to work as part of a team
Reliable transportation to Somersby
Commitment to a 4-year apprenticeship including TAFE studies
