The role

This is a full-time permanent position within our Engineering department. Primarily the successful applicant will work day shift, however there are times when working a rotating 4-shift roster is required.

You will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, scheduled and unscheduled breakdown maintenance

Responsibilities include:

• Working within a team on both day work and 4 shift roster
• Maintaining and improving existing systems
• Fault finding and problem solving 
• Providing technical support to production personnel
• Contributing to the continuous improvement to safety standards and systems
• Flexibility to take on a broad role to support the team and needs of the plant
  
  

To be considered for this position you will have:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or higher)
• A grade electrical licence
• PLC experience
• Demonstrated machine trouble shooting, problem solving and fault-finding experience
• The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
