We currently have 5 fully equipped workshops in Australia with OEM diagnostics scan tools and specialty tooling with in-house maintenance software forecasting and scheduling work loads.
We are currently seeking an experienced Truck Tyre Fitter based at our Somersby facility. We have a fleet of over 1,700 vehicles which consists of Cars, Rigid Trucks, Prime Movers and Trailers, Forklifts and Construction and Plant equipment which we service in our in-house workshops.
This position is on our afternoon or night shift, afternoon shift operates from 2.36pm to 10.36pm Monday to Friday and night shift operates from 10.36pm to 6.36am Sunday to Thursday.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Installing tyres on trucks and a variety of different vehicles
- Troubleshoot tyre faults and provide recommendations
- Adhere to all safety regulations
- Inspect, test and repair tyres as required
- Management of workshop stock levels
The successful applicant will:
- Have experience in a similar role working on trucks
- Hold a truck licence (an advantage but not essential)
- Have excellent attention to detail, quality and safety
- Have the ability to work autonomously and troubleshoot mechanical issuesHave experience working in a busy, hands on environment
