Our Engineering and Construction division designs and constructs industrial buildings, refurbishes existing buildings and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.
We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician with industrial and commercial experience to join our Electrical Team based at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast.
Whilst working within the Electrical team you will be exposed to multiple disciplines throughout the electrical trade including but not limited to Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, Panel Building, Robotics, Electrical Design, Programming and Troubleshooting. - Factory fit outs
- Government projects
- Robotics
- PLC programming
- Plant Maintenance
- Industrial Troubleshooting
To be considered for this role you will be able to meet the following essential selection criteria:
- Relevant trade qualification
- A current NSW Driving Licence
- Current WHS white card
- Good knowledge of AS3000 and be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge in all facets of electrical work and a firm commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to liaise with builders, foremen and project managers during contract works
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
- Takes pride in their work and completing projects to the highest of standards
- Willingness to train apprentices to ensure they become the best tradesman
The following qualifications are not essential but will be highly regarded in the selection process:
- Elevated Work Platform Licence
- Confined Space
- Emergency First Aid / CPR
- Working at Heights
- Low Voltage Release and Rescue
- Industrial / PLC experience
This is a full-time permanent position within our Electrical team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
Rate will be negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
