We are seeking a Site Cleaner to maintain our facilities at our Corporate Head Office at Somersby working on afternoon shift Monday to Friday (2:30pm - 10:36pm). Reporting to the Site Services Coordinator, this role will be responsible for maintaining the 3 kitchen/lunchroom facilities, bathroom blocks and office areas on site, as well as providing assistance with industrial cleaning if required.

This is an autonomous role which will allow the successful candidate to establish and maintain a site cleaning schedule.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning of bathrooms, lunch and office areas including general mopping, vacuuming, wiping, dusting and waste removal
• Developing and maintaining site cleaning schedules
• Maintaining high quality cleanliness standards
• Liaising with the Maintenance team on items requiring servicing or repairs
• Reporting ongoing cleanliness issues with Management
• Other cleaning duties as required

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience working in a commercial or industrial cleaning role
• Previous experience using commercial cleaning equipment and products
• Sound understanding of safe chemical use and Work, Health and Safety standards
• Be fit and healthy as this can be a physically demanding role

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
