The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious person to join our Construction team based at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast as an Apprentice Fire Sprinkler Fitter. The successful applicant will start in a trade assistant role with the aim of commencing an apprenticeship mid year.
A Fire Sprinkler Fitter is responsible for the installation, testing, inspection and certification of fire protection systems for all types of structures.
To be successful in this role you need to be dedicated and strive to improve your knowledge and performance each and every day in order to improve production outcomes. You need to have an interest in fire sprinkler fitting and possess a problem solving mindset.
Becoming an Apprentice with Borg enables you to gain invaluable experience and to gain a national qualification whilst getting paid to do it. To be successful in gaining this apprenticeship you will have:
- Completed year 10 at school
- Some trade or pre-apprenticeship experience would be highly regarded
- Strong mathematical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail quality and safety
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Current drivers licence and reliable transportation to Somersby
