Borg Construction is an in-house construction company for the Borg Group who are a national supplier of decorative building materials, including melamine board, kitchen doors, components and benchtops. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our growing Construction team based on the Central Coast.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Install, maintain and inspect new or current sprinkler systems
• Select and mark pipes for cutting and threading
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes and fittings
• Weld and solder pipes to create joints and attach pipes to fixtures
• Interpreting and applying information from blueprints and plans
• Assisting with other pipe work and labouring duties if required

 To be successful in this role you will have:

• A trade certificate and relevant sprinkler fitting experience
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket
• Additional relevant tickets e.g. welding
• The ability to use problem solving and critical-thinking skills
• The ability to work both in a team environment and independently, with high attention to detail
• A Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)
• The ability to travel and work away if required
• Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards

This is a full-time permanent position within our Construction team. To be successful you must be motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
