Job Details

Duties and responsibilities for the Mount Gambier local B-Double driver will include:
• Receiving and distribution of stock, both on and off site
• Multi drop deliveries
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed in an effective and efficient manner
• Loading and unloading
• Forklift operating – experience and licence required

Duties and responsibilities for the Interstate B-Double Driver roles will include:
• Transporting goods interstate to and from manufacturing plants, retail and distribution centres
• Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and performing preventative maintenance
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
To be successful in these positions you will have:
• MC licence with an excellent driving record (essential)
• Good attention to detail
• An understanding of all aspects of WHS compliance and manual handling
• Demonstrated professional manner and great customer relation skills
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• A strong work ethic combined with a ‘can do’ attitude

Basic Fatigue Management trained applicants are preferred

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric, drug and alcohol testing.
