Borg is an innovative and progressive kitchen door and decorative board manufacturer providing a range of decorative surface products into kitchen joinery markets throughout Australia.
We are currently looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Workshop team at our Somersby site. This position is responsible for maintenance and repairs to the company’s New South Wales fleet, which consist of 1100 vehicles. You will be working with a modern fleet of Volvo, UD and Isuzu Trucks, a variety of company motor vehicles, and Linde Forklifts.
You will be Part-time working 6am to 6pm Saturday & Sunday, and one 7.6 hour weekday, totalling 30.6 hours per week. All relevant weekend shift loadings are paid as part of this roster. This would be the perfect opportunity for someone who has other commitments and therefore looking for some flexibility in their working week.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Extensive experience with Heavy Automotive Vehicles
- The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- A good work ethic
- Parts planning experience would be advantageous
