About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Migration Administrative Assistant to join our People & Culture team.

In this role, you will support the coordination and administration of employer-sponsored visa processes for our workforce. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external migration agents to ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met in a timely manner.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is interested in HR, global mobility, or immigration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of employer-sponsored visa applications (e.g. subclass 482, 186)
  • Collect, review, and organise employee documentation (passports, qualifications, police clearances, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate records of visa statuses, expiry dates, and compliance requirements
  • Liaise with employees, hiring managers, and external migration agents to ensure timely submission of applications
  • Track application progress and follow up on outstanding documentation
  • Prepare standard correspondence, forms, and internal reports
  • Support compliance with sponsorship obligations and internal policies

About You

  • Previous experience in an administrative, HR, or recruitment support role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume documentation
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and HR systems

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Exposure to visa or migration processes
  • Experience working with global mobility or international employees
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
