We’re looking for a high-performing Senior Financial Analyst with exceptional financial modelling skills to take ownership of our Group corporate model and support strategic decision-making. If you love working with numbers, exploring scenarios, evaluating opportunities, and influencing big decisions—this role is for you. 

You will work closely with senior leadership, contributing to investment evaluation, capital strategy, and major project decisions, while also supporting reporting improvements and broader Finance initiatives.

This position is located at our corporate head office at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Modelling & Strategy (Primary Focus)

  • Own and continuously enhance the Group corporate financial model, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timely updates.
  • Lead modelling for major projects, including funding analysis, returns modelling, scenario testing, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Conduct credit metrics and capital structure analysis to support funding strategies and optimise financial outcomes.
  • Perform detailed investment evaluations, including analysis of SPV structures, risk assessment, and financial viability reviews.
  • Support the preparation of investment memorandums and contribute to financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and strategic opportunities.
  • Provide clear, high-quality financial insights that directly support executive decision-making.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Develop and improve reporting for the Finance team using MRS (Financial Statements) and Power BI.
  • Enhance reporting automation and visibility, ensuring stakeholders have timely, accurate insights.

Property & Asset Accounting Support

  • Assist with property-level financial management, including asset accounting and performance analysis.
  • Support acquisition accounting processes.

 

About you

You’ll be a great fit if you have: 

  • 3+ years’ experience in a professional services or high-growth environment—investment banking, transaction services, M&A, consulting, or corporate finance.
  • Deep understanding of finance, accounting, valuation, and financial analysis.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills, including corporate modelling, scenario analysis, valuation, and project modelling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at every level.
  • A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in transaction advisory, capital modelling, or investment analysis.
  • Skills in Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
