We are currently seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our Maintenance team located at Charmhaven on the Central Coast of NSW.

The Role

Working on state-of-the-art equipment, you will be responsible for project work, scheduled and unscheduled breakdown maintenance and trouble shooting. As we continue to grow our operations, this role is also involved with equipment upgrades, installation of new machinery and decommissioning of old machinery.

The hours of the Afternoon shift are 2.30pm – 10.36pm Monday to Friday.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a qualified and experienced electrician
  • Have a good knowledge of AS3000 and be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge in all facets of electrical work and a firm commitment to safe work practice
  • Have experience in machine troubleshooting/problem-solving and fault finding
  • Have experience in preventative maintenance
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team

The following qualifications are not essential but will be highly regarded in the selection process:

  • Elevated Work Platform Licence
  • Confined Space
  • Emergency First Aid / CPR
  • Working at Heights
  • Low Voltage Release and Rescue
  • Industrial / PLC experience

This is a full-time permanent position. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
