About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Manager and ready to take the lead at The Ashwood Motel in West Gosford on the Central Coast. You will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, commercially minded hospitality professional who wants to run an established motel and take it to the next level. Based on performance the role has future scope to expand to overseeing additional regional accommodation within our group as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily motel operations including front office, housekeeping, maintenance and guest services.
  • Manage budgets, occupancy, and cost controls to drive profitability.
  • Build positive relationships with guests, suppliers and local community partners.
  • Monitor online reputation and guest feedback to maintain high review scores.
  • Implement efficient systems and procedures as the business expands to new locations.
  • Ensure compliance with all WHS, licensing and operational standards.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in hotel or motel management, ideally in a hands-on regional setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Financially astute with the ability to manage budgets and drive performance.
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable managing both operations and strategy.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to regional locations in Australia as new properties come online.
