We are currently seeking a Shoda Router Technician to join our Maintenance team located at Charmhaven on the Central Coast of NSW.

The Role

In this position you will be responsible for the optimal performance and ongoing maintenance of the routers to ensure maximum utilisation and efficient operation during the manufacturing process. At Charmhaven we currently have 10 Shoda Routers to which all are an extremely vital part of the manufacturing process of our products.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have demonstrated experience working with Shoda Routers, or an equivalent system utilising Fanuc Servo control
  • Be fluent in Japanese and English
  • Have the ability to read Japanese / read and write in English
  • Have mechanical and or electrical aptitude
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, along with strong attention to detail
  • Have a strong work ethic and desire to take ownership and be willing to learn
  • Work well in a team
  • Have an understanding of G code and Ladder Logic (an advantage)

This is a full-time permanent position. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
