Job Details

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Engineering Manager to join our Engineering team based at our Oberon site. This position would suit someone who would like to work in a large business where their effort is acknowledged and they feel part of a team. Whilst working within the Engineering department you will be expected to:

  • Lead and manage a large Engineering & Maintenance team
  • Maintain a safe system of work in the workplace
  • Troubleshoot and fault find industrial machinery
  • Improve the operational efficiencies of the manufacturing facility by adopting best practice maintenance and engineering techniques
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
    Provide technical leadership as required

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • A degree/tertiary qualification in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/ Electrical)
  • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
  • Be highly analytical with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in Maintenance, Reliability or Engineering in a large manufacturing environment
  • Have demonstrated ability to troubleshoot
  • Strong people leadership experience and ability to drive performance and engagement
     

 

To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
