About the Role

This is a full time role, based at our head office. You will be an experienced Development Manager with a background in Strategic Planning, Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience in the front end aspects of the Development life cycle will be highly regarded.

Space Urban has taken enormous steps over the past 3 years to build a solid pipeline of development projects. Due to this large and growing development pipeline we are looking for another Development Manager to join our team.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the built environment through strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration, and project leadership.

You'll work shoulder to shoulder with the CEO on our residential rezoning projects and other major commercial developments in the pipeline.  

Responsibilities:

  • Drive development rezoning initiatives to optimise social, commercial and economic outcomes
  • Review design outcomes and recommend improvements to provide value added solutions
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to develop innovative and unique strategies for our development
  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of relevant project management tools
  • Feasibility and financial management reporting together with design input to ensure development is set up for success
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with relevant Councils, industry groups & development authorities

About You

  • Has direct experience in delivering large scale residential and commercial projects with mixed typologies
  • Is very tech savvy
