About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our Technical team based at our Oberon, NSW manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the Technical & QA Manager, you will be working on state-of-the-art equipment and will be responsible for:

  • Developing, improving and maintaining quality management systems
  • Developing, improving, maintaining and troubleshooting production processes and equipment
  • Continuously monitoring the performance of our production lines to identify technical issues or improvement opportunities
  • Designing mechanical equipment, machines, components, products for manufacture, and plant and systems for construction
  • Establishing standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance regulations
  • Identifying root causes to technical issues and propose ultimate solutions to resolve issues.
  • Analysing rejects reports, identify improvement opportunities, focusing on production outcomes with regards to quality and efficiency of machine operation.
  • Inspecting plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained

As we continue to grow our operations, this role will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives to our production processes.

This is a full time position, working 38 hours across Monday to Friday.

 

About you

To be considered for this position you will have:

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in chemical, manufacturing or industrial engineering or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in machine trouble shooting, problem solving and fault finding
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership & supervisory experience
  • Have worked in a continuous manufacturing environment
  • Project management
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving

 

 As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric, drug and alcohol testing.
