About the Role

As a result of continued business expansion, we are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team in Somersby on the Central Coast.

Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, your new role will involve partnering closely with several businesses within our group, with a view of continuously streamlining and integrating business processes. You will also have responsibility for managing and producing monthly management reports and ensuring compliance obligations are met. 

This is a fast paced role that works across a diverse range of industries from shared services to farming to energy supply across the group that will see you constantly changing and adapting. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Development, preparation and analysis of monthly management reports for multiple entities
  • Integrating payroll data to the ERP system 
  • Ensuring farming records are aligned with the ERP system
  • Continuously seeking to improve business and finance processes 
  • Managing the fixed assets registers
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Providing assistance to external auditors as required
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and legislation

 To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with implementing solutions with ERP systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA/CA qualifications 
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a management accounting role
  • A proactive attitude towards business improvement
