About the role

We are looking for an experienced Trainer to join our team in Oberon where you will be responsible for delivering training and assessing competency across our range of High Risk Work training areas with a focus on the use of Forklifts and various pieces of heavy plant equipment on site.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering and developing internal training programs
  • Conducting on-site training with new and existing employees
  • Ensuring employees are trained to operate in line with company standards
  • Maintaining current industry knowledge and skills for the various mobile plant being our employees will be trained in

This position is located at our facility in Oberon, however may require some travel to other sites as required.

 

About you

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • A current forklift licence and extensive forklift experience (Linde forklift experience would be an advantage)
  • Experience in the use of and experiencing training on other mobile plant would be an advantage but is not a strict requirement
  • Formal qualifications in training and assessment
  • A strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety legislation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
