Our Engineering and Construction division designs and constructs industrial buildings, refurbishes existing buildings and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.
We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Structural Engineer who has extensive experience with developing engineering solutions for a range of industrial and commercial building projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Design of structural steel and reinforced concrete structural elements for various commercial and industrial building projects
- Ensure design solutions comply with local and national codes and standards
- Oversee and review documentation prepared by our drafting team
- Working closely with the drafting team in the development of engineering drawings
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Chartered Engineer status or in the final stages of gaining CPEng status
- 10+ years of experience particularly with industrial and commercial type projects
- Well-developed technical understanding of reinforced concrete and structural steel design
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Australian standards and construction codes
- Proficiency with analysis software such as Spacegass, Microstran, Inducta, FEA design software etc
- The ability to manage and deliver engineering projects from conception to completion
